So we me and the girls flew to Oregon for 3 weeks at the end of August. (Yes this blog post is a little late, sorry Mom) We had such a great time! I got to spend lots of time with family and friends and got to eat at all the places I love to eat at when in my hometown of McMinnville. So lots of pictures . . here are a few.
Of course a trip to the beach is mandatory, and good eating at Mo's too. Also, the best random Dairy Queen in a must on the way back.

My brother was able to fly in from SLC for a week while we were there and that was awesome, I love him, and boy was Leah attached to him th whole time he was visiting!

We made a lunch date with Nurse Brenda. She is solely responsible for keeping me sane and living when Leah was first born (10 weeks premature). She is an angel. She hadn't seen Leah since we left the NICU!

And what is trip home without 3rd street? Nothing. So we walked around ate at Thai Country

and of course Sunny had her first ice cream at Serendipity. Yum! Only 6 months old but my dad just can't resist.

My mommy with her newest grand baby. My girls love their Grammy!

I was able to spend a good amount of time with my best friend Kristen and we were able to sew a bit. We whipped up some decorative pillows with this awesome Moda fabric she picked out from our AWESOME trip to Boersma's.

The Kisers (Kristen's parents pictured below) are basically the match makers for me and my wonderful hubby. They are close friends, I've known them forever AND they always feed us, they are pretty much the best!

These people always feed us too! The Egan's are also my faves! I always visit them and I love their beautiful property! They are dear to my heart and Leah had a blast with them. She says she loves them, too.

Leah on the Egan's trampoline, posing . . . . can you tell?

And these photos are very special to me. My Grandma with my girls, her great granddaughters. First time meeting Sunny!

There is a pic of me as a baby with my dad, just like this one of him holding standing Sunny!

Having my brother Brock around was a nice treat for everyone, we had lots of fun together. We still get annoyed at each other pretty easily, but he is a lot of fun and a really great Uncle. Even though his hair . . . . . ugh.

We went to the Oregon Zoo. Which is easily one of my favorite places on the planet. We did the norm there . . . .
rode the train . . .

saw zebras and took bathroom breaks . . . . .

elephants and petting zoo . . . with more posing from Leah . . .

Brock and the brachiosaurus, that's always funny, and the fam including my littlest bro Garner.

Then Brock had to go home, and Mom cried, and we took pictures. We miss him. And before he left he let me cut his hair, YES!!!

We stayed on in Oregon for a while and went to the State fair. If you can't tell by the pics, Leah had the time of her life on a few rides.

We met up with friends at the park and our kids all played in the water, it was SUCH a nice day, and I got to chat with my bestie Nikki! (Another Leah pose)

So these are some highlights from our trip. Enjoy! Halloween post to be coming in the next week . . . . stay tuned.
