A Kentucky kind of 4th

Jason's little brother Terrence and his beautiful wife, Colleen, decided to fly to Kentucky for the 4th of July. That is where their sister Chelsea lives with her family. Since we are "only" 12 hours away we decided to go for a visit too, and so did the parents . . . . there was a lot of us, but it was tons of fun. Auntie Chelsea and Uncle Chris were kind enough to rent us a cabin right on Kentucky lake. We stayed there for the weekend and then came back to Paducah to stay at Chels and Chris' house for a few more days. Leah had a blast with her cousins, and it was great to have us all there (sans Rainy, the baby sister in UT who is about to have a baby any minute). It was especially cute to have our new little girl Sunny be able to spend sometime with her new cousin Jay (Chelsea's newest who is only a few weeks older than Sunny!)

Here they are . . . . they feel asleep together on the boat! So cute!!!

Leah and Mommy

Leah and Pono and their cheesy chip grins

Watching fireworks over the lake from the boat, it was beautiful!

Going swimming.

Sunny loved the water!

Leah swimming! She was being so brave!

Sunny got tired and we had no where to put her, so we made a bed from what we had.

Leah and her sparkler

Sunny in the jumping toy thingy, she really enjoyed this.

And I cut my hair while we were there. Well, Colleen did, she so great!

Our trip was great. It is always fun to be together as a family. Thank you to Chris and Chelsea who made our trip completely awesome and who always let us cram in and mess up their house! we love you guys!

Sunny is such a good sleeper. I doubt Nathan would do that!

Hey Seestah! You're welcome anytime...it was a blast. My kids are so spoiled living near grandparents that have a boat, jet ski's, four-wheelers...sheesh. My boys usually don't make it across the lake before falling asleep. Pono used to fall asleep on the jet ski when he was an infant. We would putt putt around when it was nap time, and it worked like a charm!
