Snow is Falling

After a pretty mild Fall with several warm days through October and November, the snow finally fell. The first snow deposited about 6" of fluffy white. This isn't the first snow of the year, just the first significant storm. In fact it snowed in October and started to stick and accumulate. Carissa was at work and Leah was napping. Jason was so anxious to take Leah to play in the snow he almost woke Leah from her nap to do so. And he wished he had because by the time she woke and got her dressed to go outside the sun was high in the sky and all the snow had melted.

So we were sure to take advantage of this opportunity. Leah was unsure of the snow at first but took a little liking to it, meaning she wasn't exactly screaming to get out of it.

Here is Carissa looking amazing as always. Please note the new hair color and cut. Jason loves it.

And finally, this picture cracks us up. Carissa always gives Jason a hard time about the dumb faces he makes when he takes pictures. So she does her best impression here.

Sadly, Jason meekly admitted that the faces he makes hide his ever-growing double chin.

Chong! It's Emily Kikuchi! Your very cute wife found Trav on MySpace a while back but he accidently erased her email. I have been looking around at blogs today and decided to search for the one that I remembered her talking about. And I found you!

You look so happy and you have such a beautiful family! It is so fun to see! We just recently started a blog too: kikuchiohana. Really creative I know! :)

Also there is a link to Eric Christensens blog on mine that you will have to check out. We have stayed in contact through email about once a year but the blogging thing is much easier.

Glad we found you and wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!
